I was born in Bummertown *e-hem* Bremerton, Washington on May 1st, 1981. In case you can't count, I'm 23. I was raised by my mum, Janita (Juh-nee-tuh, not JUAN-ita), and my dad, Kennith.
I reside on the Kitsap Peninsula in the Puget Sound region of Washington State, just a hop and a skip across the water from Seattle (which, contrary to the setting of Kitsap County in the most recent movie starring "The Rock," Kitsap County is actually quite far from the Cascade Mountains. That's at least a 2 hour drive from here if you don't count wading through Seattle traffic, and the Cascades don't even touch the Peninsula. The Olympics, however, do.) I graduated from Discovery High School on January 26th, 2001 (I got lazy...and even a little too stubborn for my own good). I'm currently working as a daycare assistant/preschool teacher.
In case you're wondering, my cultural background, as I've come to find out, is primarily Native American, Prussian, and Scottish. There's also a little Irish, Canadian French and some Spanish in the family bloodline, but not really enough to count. Not that it's obvious or anything but, someone in my family is heavy into genealogy...and that would be my mom. LOL

My heart lies with...
Nate. He's 28, about 6 feet and 3 inches tall, dark hair, "calico" eyes (I call them that because they change color from blue to green and sometimes even yellowish-green to light brown. He says they're hazel.) My favorite things about him are his eyes, his humor, and his sensibility. My least favorite things about him are...hard to pinpoint. LOL He is kind of arrogant, which I am the same way, only in a more subtle way than he is. LOL He's also very blunt and opinionated, which isn't always a bad thing but, he can kind of forget who he's talking to when he's saying it like it is and can be kind of hurtful with his words. At least I know he means well, and he can almost always make a person think about their actions and see what they should correct the next time they are stuck in any given situation, whether that's actually his intent or not. I don't think he really knows that he possesses that ability or has that affect on some people.

likes
I like amusing myself mostly but, if you want specifics, here you go...reading, writing, music, being a geek (okay, so according to recent survey, I'm only about 14-15% geek but, that's still counts for something, right?), guys who are geeky in a cute way (kinda like Ethan Embry...I guess Wes Bentley could fit in this category, too, although he's only a little bit of a geek, looks-wise. I could just see him in those big thick glasses with the tape in the middle, though. LOL), drawing (as of late), sarcastic humor, lounging around, thinking about "world issues", sleeping, waking up with a smile on my face, laughing, clothes, daydreaming, travelling (especially going on LOOONG roadies...someday I'll travel abroad in search of the best rollercoaster ever...doesn't that sound like fun to you?), hiking, staring contests, water fights, rollercoasters, pretty much any amusement park ride that turns you upside down numerous times (Like the zipper or the Kamikaze...the Gravitron has gotten much better about this, too...always fun but you end up feeling like mush when you come off of it...of course, that's the best part), animals that stay outside and/or don't shed fur all over me and my house (obviously I'm talking about cats...filthy animals), camels (my favorite animal), the colors in the sky at sunset, watching the sunrise over the seattle skyline, the beach, watching a storm come in from the coast, driving west over the rocky mountains at sunset and seeing the sun setting in front of you and the moon rising behind you (I never knew that was possible until a couple of years ago), being around little kids (who I think are smarter and more mature than most adults I know.), witnessing nearly every first of a child's life, zoos, being obsessed with all things aussie (and people, too ;) lol), being creative in finding ways to entertain myself, self-exploration, people watching, video games (sometimes...and only classics like Mario Brothers or Pac-Man...or even Pong!), holding game nights with my friends (SkipBo and UNO are usually the games of choice but sometimes we throw in Scrabble, and the Friends Trivia Game (which I kick ass at) for a little variety), and collecting tinkertoys.
dislikes
sushi, a phone that rings every 5 minutes and no one answers (especially when it's the same person calling ten million times in a row!), crackheads, ignorance, disloyalty, dishonesty, war, GW Bush (jackass...), wasted potential, judgemental people, stickybeaks (nosy people/gossips...as my mum always says, "If you mind your own business, you won't have time to mind others'."), an overabundance of selfishness (especially when children are involved...), watching a child suffer through chemotherapy, witnessing a baby recover from open heart surgery...or three, whining, people who can't admit when they're wrong, people who tell me to "Cheer up, emokid!" (DO I SEEM UNHAPPY TO YOU, F*CKFACE???), drivers who stop at yield signs or don't know where the accelorater is (it's on the right, jackass! It's people like you who cause road rage!), cardboard personalities (meaning they're fake, flakey, and stupid), and people who purposely deflate others egos just to inflate their own (what's the word for that? Oh yeah...ASSHOLE!).
silly fears
spiders, snakes, swimming in the ocean & other large bodies of water (mostly the marine life...IT'S GONNA EAT ME!!! Seriously...if you tried to throw me in the ocean, I'D KICK AND SCREAM BLOODY MURDER!), needles (Only when having blood drawn or getting a shot. Tattoos and piercings, obviously, don't phase me. I must've been a heroine addict in a past life...there's that one spot that they take blood from and I just hate being injected there...hence the reason I don't donate blood. Yeah, I'm a wuss...just thinking about it bugs the shit out of me), falling from high places (but someday I'll go bungee jumping and hopefully conquer that fear)

distinguishing marks
tongue pierced (once upon a time but, it started getting in the way of my bite and I couldn't get a shorter bar bell, so I took it out.)
tattoo of a quarter moon on my left ankle
scar on my right eyebrow (I don't remember how I got it but, if it's what I think it is, it's a long story. LOL)
scar of 23 stitches on left arm (I broke my arm by falling off a slide when I was two years old. It was very nasty...the bone came completely out of the skin and I had to have surgery and stay at the hospital for observation...going down that slide is also my earliest memory but I don't remember breaking my arm.)
scar on right shoulder blade (I had a deep cut from getting caught on a broken tree branch as I ducked under a fallen tree while running through the woods near my house when I was about 10 or 11. I'm very proud of my scars.)
If I ever have kids, their names might be...:
boys:
joshua layne (my brother's name and my sister's middle name...kill two birds with one stone, I will...haha)
heath micheal (micheal is a good, strong name & heath, I just like the name...)
zane riley (zane is a french form of john, which I'd always considered but found it too normal...haha. riley just sounds right with a name like zane)
girls:
annie layne (annie is after the heart song, "dreamboat annie," and layne has already been explained)
zoe claire (zoe is my favorite sesame street character and it was also a nickname of mine when I was in school...it also means "life" or "lively one". claire is just in there cause I like the name and it seems right.)
olivia lael (such a pretty name.)
